Why a blog about Madrid?

Dear friends and students,
The reason to create this blog has been receiving my dear American family from Spokane ( Washington State, USA) and visiting the city this November 2008 with them. I spent a year with them in their home when I was 17, and my life changed completely.

The purpose of this Class Blog will be to encourage my students to be "Tourist Guides" and rediscover their city.

"Do you know Madrid well ?"
"Can you take friends around the city?"
"Which would be your favourite places in Madrid?"

The result of my students work will be the entries.
We will also include interesting links.
And we will learn a lot too about the capital city of Spain.
